What We Are/What We Do:
APSCREEN is a subscriber-based consumer
reporting agency, providing end-user only consumer reports and/or investigative
consumer reports to qualified subscribers for legitimate business purposes as
defined by applicable federal, state and local privacy and reporting statutes.

Collection of Information:
Information collected by APSCREEN's
end-users and transmitted electronically, by facsimile or by the U.S. Postal
Service to us is used solely for the purpose of providing reporting services
to our end-user subscribers. Information provided to us by you will not be shared
with any third-party outside of the consent you have given in the
APSCREEN Notice To Consumer Consent
Form that you signed when you authorized your prospective employer, landlord,
or credit grantor to procure a Consumer Report or Investigative Consumer Report
for purposes of determining or qualifying your prospective candidacy or other
eligibility.
Personally Identifiable Information:
The information requested and provided by you likely includes name, address,
telephone number, date of birth, social security number, motor vehicle operator’s
license number, professional license information, employment history, education
and other credentials. All data is collected, stored and delivered in compliance
with applicable federal, state and local laws.
Use of Your Information:
APSCREEN only conveys or transfers
specifically applicable information to our partners as required to complete
their development of information with regard to the preparation of the Consumer
Report or Investigative Consumer Report requested by our end-user subscribers.
APSCREEN otherwise discloses
information only as pursuant to law or your consent and does not sell, rent
or otherwise disclose user information to anyone not authorized by law or your
consent.
Personal Information Disclosure United States or Overseas:
APSCREEN does not transfer
your personal information outside of the United States, and maintains a strict
policy that our partners SHALL NOT transfer, transmit or otherwise convey your
information to anyone outside of the United States, unless that transfer is
in accordance with your consent to develop information outside of the United
States as required by our end-user subscriber with regard to your candidacy
or eligibility. APSCREEN maintains
active membership in the CONCERNED CRA’s trade association in order to stay
abreast of off-shoring threats.
Additional National Security Safeguards – CCR/ORCA vs. USDOC Safe Harbor:
With regard to the acquisition of information outside of the United States,
APSCREEN uses only reputable and well-known
industry sources to procure and validate said information and monitors the conveyance
of said information and any validating personal information under the guidelines
and auspices of our current registration as a Government Contractor which exceeds
the U.S Dept. of Commerce “Safe Harbor” provisions since our registration as
a government and MILSPEC contractor requires elevated national security certifications.

Integrity of Information and Public Record Reporting Standard:
In keeping with FCRA Section 613, APSCREEN
only provides information that is complete and up to date with regard
to information reported for employment screening purposes to our end-user subscribers.
APSCREEN's End-User and non-Public
Information Vendor Responsibility:
APSCREEN requires (contractually) of
its subscriber end-users and non-Public record vendors to maintain “Access Security
Requirements” to a Credit Bureau Standard for all information not just personally
identifiable information, a standard the we have determined as the oldest firm
of our kind in the United States (Since 1980) to be above all other industry
association standards with regard to security of personal information. As a
Certified Reseller of the Three major Credit Bureaus, namely EXPERIAN, EQUIFAX
and TRANSUNION, APSCREEN is required
to maintain their “Access Security” requirements to an audit standard, as well;
and thus imposes the same standard on our end-user subscribers and non-Public
information vendors in order to ensure to a reasonable, pass-through compliance
standard at all stages of the processing of Consumer Reports and/or Investigative
Consumer Reports for our end-user subscribers.
